whats the worst that can happen?

so...here we are the morning after...italy the new champs...doesnt sound right but hey they held their nerves and trezeguet didnt...as for zizzou...well that hurt..for him to bow out like that wasnt imaginable...i hope people will remember him for his game and numerous achievements than this head butt..it was one helluve headbutt though....khair despair can make ones mind wander in weird directions.while my mind was wandering i started thinking about the system of asking out people.and then i started thinking as to why it is usually the responsibility of the guy to make the first move.if a girl likes someone 9/10 she wont make the first move.why??

btw a little disclaimer...this thinking in no way reflects something happening to me .i dont know of anyone liking me and me wishing her to make the first move..hehe...just thought that maybe maybe someone could enlighten me about how this system works.

i guess i can understand the whole rishta business.guys family going to the girl..khair...like i said despair makes the mind go everywhere and nowhere.

I think all blog posts for today including mine have been about Zidane. I think he just added to his popularity in some cricles with the head butt.

A girl will make a move when she's sure the guy will not say no. Don't guys do the same? I speak only for people I know. When we were in our teens (moment of sadness as I think of teens in the past sense) it seemed that most of the time a guy just had to like a girl for her to like him back. Maybe you get picky only as you get older.

lol..jarrar, i thought zidan' head butt was the hottest thing!
the guy probably had it coming...but did you see him go flying off!
im still in awe!

and about the asking out bit, i think its different now.i know so many girls/women who make their interest known to the 'object of their desire'.i cant count myself, because im just a plain coward in such situations.
even though guts or no guts, i like the old fashioned way!

moizza:i agree thts mostly the case for everyone.no one likes rejection obviously..hehe but i feel that even when a girl knows for sure that she wont get rejected, she'll as khizzy put it let her interest be known subtly rather than just asking the guy out..khair i think age does play a role now..i would also think karachi would be much different than lahore...?anyhoo just a weird thought tht stuck in my head this morning..

You're right about the city difference. You will still get a fair number of girls who would rather not have anything happen than ask someone out but I'd rather not and there are many here that agree and have taken the first step themselves. Maybe it's a sterortype in my head but I would tend to think there are more girls in Lahore who will focus on just signalling rather than acting.
